The Prowler Uniform

Take a good look at your sweater and consider what it means to you and the team.

Purple is power.  It has a richness and quality to it that demands respect.  Purple is ambitious and self-assured, THE leader.

Black implies self-control and discipline, independence and a strong will, and giving an impression of authority and power.

Silver is respectable and courteous, dignified, self-controlled, responsible, patient, determined and organized.

White is the color of new beginnings, wiping the slate clean, so to speak.  It is the blank canvas waiting to be written upon.  That could be the start of a new season, a new set of teammates, another game on the schedule, or your next shift providing a new opportunity to compete.

The letters on your right shoulder are a tribute to our home schools and communities and represent a commitment to each that as a Prowlers we will always represent them them in a positive manner and that we appreciate their support.

The Prowler cat is a single silver color representing all schools and communities in our territory unified under one color-Silver.  Silver illuminates and reflects the energy of the surrounding colors, just as Prowler players energize and motivate each other in the way we approach everything we do, from training, to practice, to games.  The cat is not stationary, it is a "prowling" silver cat that is energetic, hard-working, with a mind set on success.

A Prowler player recognizes that the uniform represents something greater than the player wearing it.  It identifies the team.  Wearing it in competition is a privilege earned through hard work, practice and the trust of others.

Prowler Hockey has a comprehensive off-season program for our players and potential players. We feel this program is UNRIVALED by ANY high school hockey organization in the greater Columbus area. The combination of on-ice and off-ice workouts gives a balanced approached to training our athletes and preparing them to be the best they can be.

Below is a brief overview with costs:

We limit our PHA Prowler team training to no more than 20 participants to ensure adequate resources and effective athlete to coach ratio.  Donskov training runs a two-day per week, Mondays and Wednesday schedule for 21 sessions.  The sessions are 90 minutes in length and mirror the Donskov Athletic Performance Development Program.  The facility is located at 7061 Huntley Road, Worthington.  (About 1/4 mile from the Chiller Ice Works)

Doskov off ice strength training begins early June and ends in August.  The time is 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM.  The program runs 11 weeks; however, DSC will be closed on Monday July 4.  There are 21 (90 min) sessions this summer. Start date Monday, June 6 and end date is Wednesday, August 17.

To indicate your interest, please complete this form.  If you have any questions, email Dan Rapp at   or call 614-581-9328.

Cost of program is $375 per participant and is paid directly to Donskov.

Prowler Hockey will be sponsoring an on-ice program during the summer of 2016. The program begins the first week of July and will run until the second week of August. (Overlaps with the Donskov off-ice program explained above) There will be 10-12 one hour sessions held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Easton Chiller starting on July 5th. The focus of these sessions will be skating, skills and conditioning. This is a great team building program open to ALL PHA players, ALL potential PHA players and ALL future potential players (7th and 8th graders).

Cost of program is $150 and includes on ice sessions, a practice jersey, Prowler Hockey T-shirt, and tryout fees. GREAT VALUE!

Off ice conditioning will follow the on ice sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
